NCORE 2022 will be held May 31-June 4, 2022, at the Oregon Convention Center (OCC). The OCC has obtained Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) Star Accreditation, a performance-based program designed to help facilities establish a comprehensive system of cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention for staff and venues. As the conference grows closer, NCORE will provide additional resources and guidance related to safety measures and protocols. More information.


Important Dates: 

  • Call for Presentations Opens: October 5, 2021
  • Call for Presentations Closes: December 15, 2021
  • Selection Decision Notification: February 18, 2022
  • Session Scheduling Notification: February 25, 2022
  • Session Confirmation Deadline: March 22, 2022
  • Alternate Notification: March 25, 2022


Key Requirements: 

  • You do not need to be registered for the conference to have your proposal reviewed.
  • If your proposal is selected for presentation, all presenters must register at one of the published registration rates.
  • There is not a limit to the number of proposals you are allowed to submit. 
  • Presenters must comply with presenter guidelines. This includes agreeing to use the microphone provided in the presentation room. 
  • Presenters are required to submit visual presentation materials to NCORE to be reviewed for accessibility prior to the conference.
  • All presenters must bring their own laptop and MAC adapter (if applicable). 


NCORE sought proposals that:

  • Provide important insights, points-of-view, skills, tools, and strategies that stress action solutions, implementation, and practical applications
  • Highlight exemplary actions, programs, approaches, and models
  • Provide resources and suggest strategies to create inclusive higher education environments, programs, and curriculum; improve campus racial and ethnic relations; and/or expand opportunities for educational access and success by culturally diverse, traditionally underrepresented populations.
  • Facilitate constructive dialogue, interaction, understanding and action around significant issues or within/between significant conference constituencies, i.e. racial/ethnic groups, students, faculty, affirmative action officers, student life personnel or other occupational classifications, early and/or advanced professionals, various geographical regions, and different types of higher education institutions.
