HOW NCORE PROGRAMMING ISDETERMINED

Emphasizing the Intersection of Race, Ethnicity, Gender, Religion, and Class

The National Conference on Race and Ethnicity in American Higher Education emphasizes the intersection of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, and class with campus programming and the cultural environment. Determining the programming of each year's conference draws from multiple sources, and relies on the submission of recommendations.

The graphic below illustrates the flow of recommendations from the Executive Committee of the Southwest Center for Human Relations Studies, the NCORE National Advisory Council, the conference's self-organized caucuses, NCORE staff, and other key stakeholders in the area of education and social justice.
